Claw Daddy's
About This Spot
Stepping up to Claw Daddy’s in Gulfport feels like slipping into a beloved local rhythm—a place where the pace slows just enough to savor the simple, joyful act of sharing a meal loaded with fresh, soulful flavors. It’s a carryout haven tucked away on Russell Boulevard, where the familiar hum of chatter and the occasional clatter of seafood shells set the backdrop for a communal experience rooted in Gulf Coast tradition.
The atmosphere here carries an easygoing energy, fueled not by flashy décor or polished presentation, but by the unmistakable draw of quality and care in every order. Lines often snake out the door, a humble testament to the love for their seafood—especially the crawfish, boiled shrimp, and succulent crab legs, which arrive steaming and seasoned just right. The air is often tinged with the zest of spices and the ocean’s gift, inviting visitors to loosen up and dig in with friends or family, either helping themselves or taking home a feast to share.
Claw Daddy’s is as much about the human moments around the food as the food itself—locals swapping stories over platters brimming with corn and potatoes, curious newcomers embracing the spice and tradition, and regulars who’ve come to expect that unmistakable balance of freshness and flavor on every visit. It’s a spot where every bite feels like a small celebration of place, heritage, and time spent well.
Whether you’re drawn to their generous boiled seafood platters or the satisfying crunch of fried catfish or alligator po’ boys, the menu quietly champions authenticity and heartiness. Side dishes like patatas bravas and pork cracklings add unexpected touches that make the experience feel personal and well rounded. Behind the counter, the family-run spirit shines through in both the food and the warmth of the service, creating a sense of belonging that lingers long after the last shell is cracked.

This is a carryout-only place for freshly made, properly cooked crawfish. We got the crawfish platter with boiled potatoes and corn. Delicious.

Saw the line at this place, and figured I'd check out what the craziness was about... I got the royal reds platter with corn and potatoes, and added two sausage links... I must say these Mississippi baws put they foot in this, and this is coming from a Louisiana baw! Lol... As much as I love crawfish, I had a craving for the royal Reds. With the line outside, I'm pretty confident they were good as well!

I'm from Florida and every time I come to visit my parents I get crawfish, tradition with my dad. Price is good. Great compared to Florida prices. Love the spice. Save me some for the next trip. I'll be back.

Ordered a deep fried turkey again this year and they NEVER disappoint. Turkey was flavorful and so juicy. Ordering another for Christmas. Try then out you won't be disappointed.

Awesome hole in the wall seafood shack. If you are in gulfport stop by for fresh crayfish. It's not a sit down place to eat but you can grab hot food to go.
